Gossip Girl's actress Blake Lively wore a stunning couture gown by Marchesa for her secret wedding to hunky Ryan Reynolds, but it's her blinged-out engagement ring that has caught the fashion world's eye. The new bride donned the art deco-inspired sparkler the day after her nuptials, presumably as not to alert celebrity couple watchers.
Although the couple walked down the aisle in a rustic-chic South Carolina barn on September 9, they didn't legally tie the knot until five days later.

grade in terms of color and brilliance," says Polk-Bauman. "It could
be near flawless." She estimates the size at approximately 12-carats. It's
paired with a delicate matching band of pave-set diamonds. What's a bauble like that worth? Well, as much as a house. In the spring, Reynolds and Lively spent about $2 million on a quaint, English-style country cottage in affluent Bedford, New York, and Polk-Bauman estimates the ring cost about the about the same. "Minimum 1.5 million," she says. And given the quality of the stone, "it could be close to or more than $2 million." Reynolds created the sparkler with celebrity favorite Lorraine Schwartz, reports People. Schwartz famously designed the 20.5-carat ring Kris Humphries bestowed on Kim Kardashian, also reputed to be worth $2 million. The average engagement ring is valued at about $3,000, so Blake Lively's ring seems like a fortune. However, it’s can’t compete with Jay-Z and Beyonce own which cost Jay-Z about $5 million back then in 2008,his choice of ring was also by Schwartz.
